The analytics implementation has been built specifically for oADD websites. Legacy data from your Cox website has been migrated over, and as a result, you are seeing data from both Cox and oADD when comparing date ranges that predate the oADD site launch. As a result, when comparing date ranges that include both your legacy Cox website and oADD, you are seeing data from two separate analytics implementations merged together. While every effort has been made to ensure data consistency, the differences in analytics implementations between Cox and oADD websites may result in certain metrics and dimensions not being directly comparable. It's essential to exercise caution when analyzing and interpreting data that spans both platforms, as unexpected values or discrepancies may arise.
Examples of affected dimensions
Form Title
The Form Title dimension pulls the name of the form as it appears in the backend data attribute. Since forms have different data attribute naming conventions between Cox and oADD websites, they cannot be easily compared across both platforms.
Marketing Channels
The Marketing Channel dimension uses your marketing URL parameters to capture and group traffic. The ability to capture these parameters in Adobe Analytics was only implemented at the time of the oADD site launch. As a result, you will see traffic grouped correctly for oADD websites, but not for Cox websites.
CTA and Click Text
The CTA and Click Text dimensions are not consistent between Cox and oADD websites. Therefore, these values cannot be easily compared across both platforms.
